INSTRUCTORS
All of our instructors are British
Horse Society (B.H.S.) trained. We offer expert tuition from staff
experienced in teaching and competing in dressage, show jumping and cross
country.
LESSONS
Lessons are held throughout the year, both during the day and in the evening.
Adults can have a group lesson of one hour, or if you are a beginner and
think that an hour may be too long, there is a special ½ hour lesson on
Sunday Mornings. All tuition and practical work is done here at the Riding
School, but if there is a test at the end of the course it will be conducted
elsewhere at an exam centre.

Most of the children's lessons are ½ hour long, but for the most experienced children one hour lessons are available on a sunday.
BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY RIDER TRAINING
Stages 1, 2 and 3 are aimed at people wishing to work within the industry.
The B.H.S. Progressive Rider Tests Levels 1-6 are standard tests for riders.
All lessons are graded by ability - sufficient improvement moves the student
onto the next level or class. Children on one of these courses will get
experience riding a variety of different horses

We hold events for the children that are members of our pony
club and they get a 50p discount on all non-private lessons and hacks.
Children may ride on adult lessons from the age of 14 at the same price as a child's hack.
CANCELLATIONS
The full cost of the lesson or hack that you have booked will be charged
if it is not cancelled before 12 o'clock midday.
Schools, college and large groups have reduced prices by arrangement.
ADULT RIDING CLUB
There is an adult riding club that is based at the yard (it is independent
of the riding school). We hold events about once
a month for the club members, i.e. show jumping, dressage, cross country
and fun events. We also hold open affiliated and unaffiliated show jumping
shows.

PONY CLUB
We have an active pony club which holds events and fun days during the
school holidays. There are gymkhanas, cross country events and show jumping,
all aimed at young riders between the ages of seven and seventeen. Please
give us a call if you are interested in joining in the fun!
